4/28/04 - After a short struggle over the keyboard and a sebsequent
battle (with a stapler), the Reyna's gained artistic control of the website. with the new dictatorship come two new figures
for you to worship: Mark- the figurehead of the site (Presidente Marco, as he calls himself) Matt- the infrastructure
(AKA El Burro as so dubbed by Mark, I mean Presidente Marco... Forgiveness sir) Uh... More to come!
8/28/04 - Summer still fresh in our minds, first week of school
begun, and we have news comming out of our @$$es! So, we begin. Matt Reyna, has quit as Sunnydale Ohio's bassist. But
quick to pick up his slack is Johnny, who bought the old bass and now plays some really cool very "mario 64" like bass lines.
With no rythem guitar (Johnny's origional position) Mark was forced down to rythem. With no lead guitar, James decides to
buy an electric guitar of his own. He learns chords and plays rythem until Joey decides he wants to kick some ass. As it turns
out, Joey is a natural. He is really good at fingering chords and picks up fast. He has an ear for what sounds good and
an eye for how to play it. He also PRACTICES!!! That takes effort. So James returns to drums; lead, rythem, and bass
are all in place, and VOILA!!! We have a full, capable, band. More to come!
9/5/04 - So...there we are, Johnny, Joey, James, and Mark, all sitting
around a computer, attempting to work one of the microphones, when Mark picks up the 30 year old guitar laying in front of
him, holds it high into the air and begins to randomly slam chords that he belives may work. "Whoa! Hey that worked!" Mark
yells. So back into the garage we venture, James grabs the his electric, Joey the tamborine, Johnny his base, and Mark
his baby. The same chords from James' amp begin to humm that same soft, simple, melody. For one fleeting moment, no sound
is heard as Mark and James prepare for what is about to unfold... "GO!!!" Someone yells as the lead guitar screams
out a powerful solo. Neighbors and passers by alike stopped to hear the power of what had just been created right before their
ears. This was the birth of our first real song, "The Highway of Love." (Title subject to change) As we begin
the recouperation process of playing an awesome song, yelling and joking, all gets quiet as we hear another melody
resonating out from a small amp, this time, from the youngest member of the Band. We stop and stare as Mark screams, "What
the hell are you doing?" followed by the subsequent, "No dont stop thats awesome!!! What the hell? Thats awesome!" Laughing,
James begins to drum out a light beat, followed by Johnny beating out a bass line, and all wrapped up with the lead guitar
accenting the melody. Thus, our second real song was born. No name has been given to it...so until it gets a proper name,
it will be called, "Dont stop." Both songs will be posted on the site as soon as they are recorded. And thus, on
that faithful day, two songs were born, and Sunnydale Ohio became official. "We came here to Rock god damn it...and Rock is
what we're gonna' do. Peace out and Rock steady!"

10/9/04 - Just recently we entered battle of the bands. Fearing that we will not be prepared
in time we began a search for a rythem or lead guitarist to fill the gap that our current guitarist Joey could not fill. Our
search came up with little results until the unexpected happened. Stephen Keller, an Ex-Sunnydale, Ohio member asked if he
could return. We gladly accepted him back. Not expecting too much we gathered in Mark's garage for a band practice. Mark starts
playing Cant You See by Marshall Tucker Band, and our of the blue, Bam, Keller explodes out with a killer solo on spot and
all on his own. Severly underestimated, Keller quickly regained his position as lead guitarist, and put me, (Mark Reyna, now
rythem guitarist) in my place. His solos ran circles around my measly double stops and weak bends. Anyone who loves Marshall
Tucker, and can make a great song even better deserves the position. To every song we create, Keller can pull a solo. To every
chrus we play, there is a powerful riff there to back it up. We are proud to boast such an incredible musician, and on
behalf of Sunnydale, Ohio...Welcome back Keller.
9/15/04 - Tired of the old crappy sound coming from a 10in speaker that could not be heard over Kellers, 2x10 amp, I decided
I needed an amp upgrade. Sunnydale, Ohio now boasts a Marshall 4x12 half stack amp. Beat that! Our sounds are now
clear and crisp. Our next upgrade will be for Johnny. We'll just have to wait and see what is in store for him...
10/11/04 - Our first live preformance is coming up at Central
Catholic on October 22 at Battle of the Bands!!! Our long awaited debut preformance has finally come. The members
of Sunnydale, Ohio will finally have the chance to prove that they are for real. Since our last
update we have made many changes in our line up. Joey has recently been replaced by the infamous Stephen Keller, "the
riff-master" himself taking lead guitar. Mark has been moved to rythem and lead vocals. We have since created two brand
new songs that we plan to preform at the show.We will only have 30 mins to play and that includes
set up. So make sure you get there on time. The show starts right after the football game. Our set will start at around
7:00 or 7:30, we are still trying to find out exactly when.
